| Overveiw | FALKE Möbel |
FALKE Möbel, Ltd. was set up in 1995. It has 3.500 m2 of premises and employs approximately 100 people.
The company name, FALKE Möbel, is a literal translation into German of the Russian name "Mebel' Sokolova", which in English means "Sokolov's Furniture".
Quality furniture is made up of high-quality furniture parts. This principle was the guideline for FALKE Möbel eight years ago, and it is still the cornerstone of its strategy today.
Quality is monitored at every stage of production of every single model. Quality control starts at the warehouse, where raw materials and parts are delivered to, and ends at the same warehouse where finished products are stored. It is here and only after the final quality check that labels of the suppliers are attached to the furniture.
The Company purchases parts and raw materials only from the world's leading suppliers.
Leather, oak frames, transformation mechanisms, molded and sheet foam-rubber for cushions are made by the leading manufacturers in Europe and elsewhere. The quality of FALKE Möbel furniture is in no way inferior to the quality of its components. This is why such companies with a world-wide reputation as Comfort Bultex (producer of rubber-foam) and Sedac-Mecobel (manufacturer of transformation mechanisms) have granted permission to attach their trademarks to FALKE Möbel furniture.
As a matter of fact, FALKE Möbel has become a prestigious brand itself. The fact that more and more faked FALKE Möbel products are found on the Russian market is a peculiar acknowledgement of this. As a means of fighting forgery, the Company started printing its logos on the upholstery fabric it uses.
In its furniture models FALKE Möbel synthesizes the Company's own design ideas with modern trends in European fashion, ideally adapting them to specific requirements of the Russian market.
For example, all models of sofas are foldable, even such a traditional model with over 200 years of history as Chester. This is because such kind of furniture is in great demand in Russia.
There are more examples like this at FALKE Möbel.
Beauty, comfort, low weight and reliability are the main distinctive characteristics of the FALKE Möbel brand.
Beauty is the result of Sergey Sokolov's trendy design and high professionalism of the cutters and sewers.
Comfort is achieved by ergonomic forms of furniture and unbeatable consumer characteristics of foam-rubber articles supplied by Comfort Bulltex.
Weight is reduced by using timber, plywood and plastic instead of chip-plates to make frames.
Reliability is ensured by all these qualities plus ambition, a strive not only to retain the niche in the Russian market that FALKE Möbel comfortably occupies, but also to expand on its basis to the European furniture markets.
