A model’s comfort for sleeping is determined by the quality of the mattress used in the transformation mechanism.
Depending on the model, mattresses for transformable sofas can be of two kinds:
- Spring mattresses – for casual versions. They are put on strengthened and highly-strengthened transformation mechanisms. An 8cm spring block is used in a 10-12cm mattress. Upholstery is made of synthetic synthepon-quilted fabric manufactured in Belgium.
- Foam-rubber mattresses are used in guest version models. They are put on regular transformation mechanisms and made of 6cm sheets of 25/32 foam-rubber; upholstery is made of combined mattress fabric.
There has been an increasing number of fake FALKE Möbel furniture articles found on the Russian furniture market, so to protect its customers from forgery the Company has started using a specially produced upholstery for its mattresses – on the one-colour fabric there are FALKE Möbel logo prints that are different from the background only in texture.
